Launched in late-December of 2013, Indiana On Tap, LLC (www.indianaontap.com) has quickly become Indiana’s leading online resource for all information, news and events related to Indiana’s craft breweries and the innovative beers they offer. Our website traffic, page views and social media audience has grown steadily and consistently since our launch. We are now averaging over 50,000 unique visitors to our site (and growing) each month. Our mission is simple: To become the leading voice of Indiana’s breweries and its craft beer community.
Due to our explosive growth, we’re looking to expand our team. We are currently looking to hire a Content Aggregator/Manager to help our efforts with researching, gathering and publishing relevant 3rd party online news content (relating to Indiana’s craft beer industry) that can be shared with our readers.
If you enjoy staying up-to-date with what’s happening with Indiana’s breweries, their beers and their events, this job is for you.
-Researching the web daily for the most up-to-date local (Indiana) and national craft beer news stories relevant to our audience.
-Publishing those stories on our site via our content management system.
-Editing and proofing content.
-Communicating regularly with our Indiana brewery contacts to stay up-to-date on information.
-Creating and managing new strategies around content aggregation as we continue to grow.
-Participating in our regular team meetings.
OPTIONAL: Attending brewery events as needed (all expenses paid).
OPTIONAL: Original writing/reporting on news and feature stories.
This position will work closely with our Website & Content Design Manager and our Social Media Strategy Manager.
If you’re looking to break into Indiana’s exciting and GROWING craft beer industry, this position is a great start. You will quickly become familiar with what’s happening in the industry and will be introduced to brewery and news contacts throughout the entire state.
While you will be required to research and manage content each day, this position is considered contract with the guaranteed opportunity to join our team part or full time if the partnership is successful. This is a virtual opportunity–you can work from anywhere. If you live in the northern-Indianapolis area, you will have access to our shared office space if needed.
