If you’re from the Southern Indiana area then you are familiar with Thunder Over Louisville. If you’re not acquainted, here’s a quick picture: fireworks, food, drink, gypsy vendors with obnoxious fluorescent trinkets, and a lot of flat billed UK/Louisville hats.
In all serious though, to some, it’s the official kick-off to the Kentucky Derby Festival. To others, it’s the unofficial beginning of spring. But to all, it’s simply one of the largest annual fireworks shows in North America and the setting for some of the most memorable moments you’ll ever share. Plus there is a really cool air show!
Flat12 is launching its inaugural Thunder Celebration. The information is below. If you haven’t been to Thunder, or Flat12 Jeffersonville even, this is a great excuse to come down and visit the sunny side of Louisville. The view is second to none and you just may be served a beer or two by yours truly!
Per Flat12 Jeffersonville:
“We’re excited to host our first annual Thunder Over Louisville Celebration Outdoor Beer Garden at the Jeffersonville Warehouse April 18, 2015!
A $75 VIP Experience ticket will include the first two pints, light snacks throughout the day, one dinner entree, all day private access to the taproom and covered patio, seating, free water, indoor restrooms, in and out privileges, plus a unique variety of craft beer on tap.
A $15 Beer Garden ticket will include one pint, limited seating, private outdoor restrooms, in and out access to the beer garden (All beer must be consumed within the Beer Garden area) and a unique variety of craft beer on tap. In addition, we will have delicious food for purchase from Stumpf is Trumpf and The Big Easy Cajun Cuisine.
Guests will enjoy a beautiful riverfront view of the air show and the biggest and best fireworks display in the nation, all from the convenient location of the new riverside venue.
