First Major Craft Beer, Music & Food Festival Coming to Plainfield and Hendricks County on October 28th

For Immediate Release:  A first-of-its-kind event is coming to Plainfield and Hendricks County.  Indiana On Tap, in partnership with the Hendricks County Chamber of Commerce and Brew Link Brewing, are excited to announce the Inaugural Hendricks County ‘Hoppy’ Halloween Craft Beer, Music & Food Festival.

This adults-only, Halloween-themed outdoor event will be held on Saturday, October 28th from 1pm – 5pm in the parking at The Shops at Perry Crossing (in Plainfield, in front of the Claddagh Irish Pub).

The event will feature approximately 20 Indiana craft breweries offering over 100 unlimited beer samples throughout the entire event, incredible music from one of Indiana’s top DJ’s, great local food from multiple central-Indiana food trucks, games, raffles, a costume contest and more!

“The Plainfield Chamber of Commerce is proud and happy to support this great event and bring Hendricks County’s first craft beer festival to the community. We are confident this will turn into an annual event to be enjoyed each and every year,” noted Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brad Dubois.

The event is the brainchild of Plainfield’s Brew Link Brewing Co-Owner, Ruari Crabbe.

“Hendricks County hosts several festivals throughout the year, but no large-scale craft beer event. We wanted to change that. Being a community-inspired brewery, we thought this would be a great opportunity to bring the entire community and county together with great craft beer from great breweries. It was a natural fit to partner with Indiana On Tap to help lead the organization and management of this event,” shared Crabbe.

Indiana On Tap, located in Indianapolis, is the state’s leading craft beer media, marketing and events company. They plan, manage and market dozens of major craft beer events all over the state each year. In 2015, they also launched the state’s premier craft beer membership and rewards program, the Tasting Society Marketplace.

“We love Plainfield, we love Hendricks County, and we love partnering with great local businesses and organizations to create unforgettable craft beer-related events that the entire community can celebrate together,” noted Justin Knepp, Indiana On Tap Founder. “We see Hendricks County as an underserved market for a large scale event like this and couldn’t be more excited to help host an event that the entire county can get excited about every year,” he added.

Tickets for “Hoppy Halloween” are now available for purchase online, in advance, at ‘Early Bird’ pricing of just $35 for VIPs, $25 for General Admission, and just $10 for Designated Drivers—making this event one of most affordable large-scale events in greater-Indianapolis.

Attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Prizes will be given for best Halloween costumes. While costumes are encouraged, they are not required.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to a local Hendricks County charity still to be determined.

Early Bird tickets are now available at www.HoppyHalloweenFest.com. Support Hendricks County and get your tickets today before the event sells out.
