Diversity Day Comes Back to Trubble Brewing

For Immediate Release:

Trubble Brewing is partnering with the Indiana Special Olympics to highlight Fort Wayne’s different races, cultures, abilities and beliefs at Trubble’s 3rd annual Diversity Day. “Fort Wayne is really becoming a very vibrant community and we think it’s something to talk about and celebrate,” says Trubble Brewing’s General Manager Keli Hankee. “We take just one day a year to focus on that and, as it turns out, it is a lot of fun.” The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 26th at Trubble Brewing.

The event is full of things you won’t see together anywhere else, including live paintings, belly dancing, musical performances of the Turkish lute and Spanish guitar, and speakers from the Special Olympics and the Buddhist temple. As the night goes on, Trubble will heat things up with fire spinners and close out the night with burlesque dancers. Family-friendly performances are planned from 4 – 7pm, including an opportunity to sign up for the Special Olympics Polar Plunge which helps to support the 16,000 Special Olympics athletes in Indiana.
