30 Aug Antonius 1742 Oktoberfest Release at Thr3e Wise Men Brewing
Indianapolis, IN –Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co. is excited to release its annual September favorite, Antonius 1742, an Oktoberfest style beer. Antonius 1742 will be tapped at their Broad Ripple and Muncie tap room locations at 7pm on Thursday, September 6th. Stop by either location during the tapping party to learn more about Antonius from our crew and enjoy complimentary beer and pizza samples!
For the past 5 years, Thr3e Wise Men has released a batch of Antonius 1742 in early September and it’s been a staple of fall in their brewery ever since. In 2015, Antonius took home a silver medal at the Great American Beer Festival in the German style Märzen category (also known as the Oktoberfest style). “Antonius is an amber colored German lager with bready malt character, hints of caramel, and a smooth body,” said Keely Thomlinson, head brewer of Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co. “It’s pretty much fall in a glass.”
Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co. releases a monthly seasonal beer and holds their tapping parties on the first Thursday of every month at both locations. Tapping party attendees are the first to taste the seasonal creation and learn about the brewing process from the brewers. At every tapping party, attendees enjoy complimentary beer and food samples and $8 growler fills of the seasonal beer. All tapping parties are open to the public, so no need to make a reservation or sign up. Beer is only available to those over 21.
