The goal of these one-of-a-kind Tasting Society events is to showcase our state’s fine breweries and beers by bringing something truly special and unique to each event. These events are intimate–it isn’t a “festival.” Attendees will have a one-on-one opportunity to talk to the brewers and owners to really get to know them (and their beers) better.

Unlike previous Tasting Society events that have included a ticket/sample allotment, all attendees to the November event will be responsibly allowed UNLIMITED samples of all beer, mead, cider & spirits throughout the evening! (And there will be a lot to enjoy).

The event will be held on Friday, November 16th and is going to be our last Tasting Society event of the year. For this event, we’ll be featuring several great Indiana breweries AND distilleries!

The first is Switchard Brewing of Bloomington, IN. Switchyard was born as a startup on the workbench of a two-car garage in Northern Monroe County. They set out to redefine the brewery experience by producing hand-crafted, flavorful beers alongside a functional co-working environment that encourages other entrepreneurs to create great things.

We’ll also be featuring Wooden Bear Brewing of Greenfield. As the first-ever brewery in Greenfield, Wooden Bear provides a casual, laid-back atmosphere where friends can gather and families can enjoy time together in beautiful downtown Greenfield. All of their beers are hand-crafted with a lot of love, a little hops and the hope of making fellow craft beer lovers smile.

We’re equally excited to be featuring our new friends from Indiana Small Batch! This local, independent spirits distributor is repping some of best distilleries across the state! They’ll be pouring samples AND whiskey/bourbon/vodka cocktails from some of their favorite brands, including The Indiana Whiskey Co., Three Rivers Distilling Co., Bear Wallow Distillery, & Live Proud Spirits!

Last, but certainly not least, back by HUGE popular demand will be  Monon Beverage Brokers. Monon Beverage provides sales, events, and distribution management for breweries, wineries, and distilleries who are ethically producing quality and consistent products all over Indiana and beyond. Their business is a first-of-its-kind in Indiana and we’re exctited that they’ll be serving samples from many of their favorite brewery, mead & cider brands they represent–including Moonlight Meadery, Ash & Elm Cider, Burn ‘Em Brewing, Evil Czech Brewery, Flat 12 Bierwerks, Bloomington Brewing, Centerpoint Brewing, and others!

Our featured musical guest will be Indy-favorite DJ 3pm. DJ 3pm is an open format party rock DJ. His mixes will take you on a musical adventure spanning multiple genres and several decades. From John Lennon to Lil Jon and everything in between, his sets will include songs that you like, songs that you love, and songs you’ve never heard before.

For you food-lovers, get excited! 5280 Bistro of Indianapolis and their amazingly diverse and gourmet menu will be serving any hungry attendees.

The Indianapolis Public Library will also be joining us to bring the library to you. Learn more about using the library on the go with their electronic resources including eBooks, eAudio, magazines, music, movie and more!

As usual, you can expect a handful of other surprises that will make this event truly one-of-a-kind, including some beautiful art on display featured by local artists.

Attendees will be required to drink responsibly and plan their transportation to and from the event. All attendees must be 21+ or older to enter. All ticket sales are final.
