What: The 2nd Annual Brews in the Bullpen – A Local Craft Beer Tasting Event

When: Saturday, July 1st, beginning at 5pm

Where: Historic League Stadium in Huntingburg, IN

It all takes place before the Dubois County Bombers home game against the Fulton Railroaders. Join us for the 2nd Annual BREWS IN THE BULLPEN craft beer tasting event!

This one-of-a-kind event begins at 5:00 pm (two hours before the first pitch). Attendees will have the opportunity to taste unlimited samples of nearly 20 unique craft beers from 3 local craft breweries and a local distributor while watching the Bombers & Railroaders warm up on the field.

Our brewery and distributor roster is set. The following local breweries will be bringing their brews to the Bullpen:

Basket Case Brewing Company – Jasper, IN

The Schnitz Brewery & Pub – Jasper, IN

St. Benedict’s Brew Works – Ferdinand, IN

Hedinger Beverage Distributing – Jasper, IN

The breweries and distributor will have staff on hand to introduce us to their line-up, help us learn the fundamentals & argue calls.

Local acoustic aces, Sparrow & Crandall, will provide live music in the Bullpen during the event.

The first hour of Brews In The Bullpen (5 – 6pm) will be an exclusive hour for unlimited sampling only. You must purchase a ‘Tasting Bracelet’ in order to be admitted. With a bracelet, you may sample as many beers as you like until 7pm.

The gates will open to everyone attending the game at 6pm. ‘Tasting Bracelets’ will continue to be sold. Those who do not purchase a ‘Tasting Bracelet’ have the opportunity to purchase 12oz pours of any of the craft beers available.

At 7pm, the sampling event ends and the game begins. All fans will continue to have the option to purchase 12 oz cups of any of the craft beer until it runs out or when Harry Carey shows up in the 7th inning, whichever comes first.

We will be selling a limited number of ‘Tasting Bracelets’ to this event. We strongly suggest that you purchase your tasting bracelet in advance to ensure that you are a part of the fun & festivities. It will also speed your slide through the gate!

The cost of a ‘Tasting Bracelet’ (unlimited sampling) is only $20. They will be available at the gate and through advance purchase on this online ticketing page. For those without a ticket to the game, a $25 package is available which includes a ‘Tasting Bracelet’ and a general admission game ticket.

A ticket to the ballgame is required to enter the stadium/event.

Carpooling is strongly encouraged.

League Stadium was home to the Rockford Peaches in the movie “A League Of Their Own”. Enjoy your brew and support your local breweries in our vintage atmosphere. It was at League Stadium where Jimmy Dugan declared “There’s no crying in baseball!” and where you will certainly run in to a Peach or two. Join us!
