When you think about Disney World, with all its rides, characters, parks, treats, stage shows, and firework spectaculars, your first thoughts jump to craft beer, right?
Right?
Well, probably not. Disney World is known for a lot of things and is constantly improving their guest’s experiences, but how often do you hear the words “Disney” and “craft beer” in a sentence together?
Well, as a mark of the influence and sustainability of craft beer, you can now find fantastic selections at multiple locations throughout the Disney property.
I’ve been going to Disney World with my family for as long as I can remember, but even when I got into craft beer years ago, I never thought to look to Disney for my craft beer fix. It wasn’t until I stumbled upon a blog called “Beers and Ears” that I realized two of my favorite things had teamed up.
Because of my craft beer discovery, when I was in Disney World recently, I made it a point to hunt down one of my favorite beers while visiting Hollywood Studios. I found Cigar City’s Jai Alai (one of my favorite IPAs) at Prime Time Cafe, which made my entire trip. But Cigar City isn’t the only craft beer available in Disney World. Breweries like Dogfish Head, Bell’s, Ballast, and even Bear Republic can all be found in the Disney parks and restaurants.
Now, what does this all mean? Craft beer is a continuously growing industry and not a trend. It is something that’s here to stay. So much so, that a huge company like Disney has embraced the industry by adding craft beers to their parks and restaurants for all those dedicated fans out there.
So, next time you’re lucky enough to visit Disney World, be sure to check out the wide selection of craft beers, especially my favorite Jai Alai.
