Cuarto De Mayo. Pachanga Awareness.

This Cuarto De Mayo we will come together for Pachanga Awareness! Pachanga, which you may know is a dance, is also Sun King’s newest seasonal. We will be featuring 4 varieties of this Mexican-Style Lager during the party, along with hourly guest taps (TBA). The fun does not stop there… Food from La Margarita Restaurant & Tequila Bar & Popcorn Bar from Just Pop In!. Photo Booth, Games, and Make Your Own Marty station.

Take Your Beer Drinking to the Next Level!

The next installment of the Sun King After School Special features Sensory Panel Training at Sun King Brewery. This course will show the public a behind the scenes look at how Sun King employees are trained for sensory panel. Participants will learn how to properly taste and evaluate a sample for off-flavor detection and learn the common defects found in beer production. The most difficult part of craft brewing is maintaining consistency of beers between batches. Our sensory panel provides us with a controlled environment in which to test shelf stability, environmental effects, age-related flavors, recipe changes, and overall beer quality. Tickets are $30 each, you must be 21+ to attend. Tickets are limited to 20 attendees.
Save Your Tabs, Get Sun King Prizes!

This is our 6th Collect Your Tabs Contest, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana! We challenge you, fans of Fresh•Local•Beer, to collect aluminum tabs, of all types and turn them in for prizes. Join forces with your co-workers, family, and friends to collect as many aluminum tabs (beer, soda, energy drinks, canned water) as you can now until July 8th, 2017. We ask that all collected tabs to be turned in on Saturday, July 8th at either of our Sun King locations (Downtown Indy or Fishers Tap Room). Those who have participated will be awarded various Sun King prizes. The bounty of collected tabs will be dropped off at the Pop Tab Drop on Monument Circle on Friday, July 14th and then the Ronald McDonald House recycle all collected tabs!
