South Bend Brew Werks Announces Unique Holiday Season Events

For Immediate Release: South Bend Brew Werks is excited to announce two events, both in their second year, that promise to make the holiday season even more fun for our patrons and showcase our commitment to the South Bend community.

First up is 12 Days of Beersmas, making its second annual appearance. Combining 12 days of gifts to customers, like free merchandise and discounts, with incentives for donating to one of our 3 Beersmas partners, Center for the Homeless, Heartland Small Animal Rescue and Food Bank of Northern Indiana, this event is a win-win-win and a nice way to help others, while helping yourself, this holiday season.. The event begins December 12th at 4 pm and continues through until December 23rd at midnight.

During the 12 days of fun we’re also celebrating the release of the new Star Wars: Rogue One movie by bringing back our Wretched Hive of Villainy event. Last year we had discounts for customers dressed in costume, star-wars themed menus, themed cocktails, light saber duels, force battles, Obi Wan chopping off people’s arms (and apologizing with a gift) and Greedo got shot, though we’re still not sure who fought first.  This year we’re bringing that all back and adding in Star Wars shaped cookies and light saber shaped pretzels from the Ragamuffin Bakery as well as releasing a special Emporer Elegante beer made with Hebron Farms bacon and Bendix Woods Syrup. Owner Andrew Elegante, who dresses up as Darth Elegante, suffered defeat last year at the hands of pretty much everyone he fought. “I have trained all year in hopes of finally achieving victory” says Elegante, with a wheezing accent. Only time will tell if this holds true. This event runs from December 15th at 4 pm to December 18th at 6 pm.

South Bend Brew Werks will also be continuing our day in, day out tradition of donation for every beverage sold to our three community partners, La Casa De Amistad, Neighborhood Resources Connection and The Music Village. To date over $22,000 have been donated to these organizations who are working alongside us to build a stronger community, one brew at a time. Further details for both events can be found online at www.sbbrewwerks.com or on the South Bend Brew Werks Facebook page.

Andrew Elegante can be contacted directly with any questions via email at drew@sbbrewwerks.com or by phone at 574-334-0356.
