21 Dec Quaff ON! Brewing Co. Announce Plans for New Location at Hillview Country Club in Franklin, IN
Franklin, Ind., Dec. 21, 2016 — The owners of Big Woods Brewing Co., Quaff ON! Brewing Company and Hard Truth Distilling Company announced today that they have entered into an agreement to create a new Big Woods destination at the Hillview Country Club in Franklin, Ind.
Big Woods Franklin is expected to open in early spring of next year and will serve the general public as well as Hillview members.
The main restaurant will feature a timber lodge setting with expansive views overlooking the grounds. The menu will feature Big Woods’ most popular offerings from its existing locations in Nashville, Bloomington and Speedway. Quaff ON! Brewing Company’s craft beers will be available and featured alongside cocktails crafted with spirits from Hard Truth Distilling Company.
Hillview is owned and operated by Franklin businessmen Pete Grimmer, Jim Admire and Max Woodbury.
According to Grimmer, he and his wife have been fans of Big Woods since the first brewpub in Nashville opened in 2009.
“We have had the opportunity to watch Big Woods grow from its original location in Nashville to what it is today,” he explained. “Somehow, they always seem to keep the small-town charm and quality wherever they go. We are excited about creating the Big Woods experience here at Hillview!”
Big Woods CEO Ed Ryan is excited as well.
“We’ve known Pete and Dana for several years,” Ryan said. “We have great admiration for the million- dollar renovation they have completed at Hillview. It’s a beautiful, well-designed facility, with a timber lodge look and feel that works for our brand. We think the timing is right for us to bring Big Woods to Franklin. We’ll do our best to earn the support of the Hillview members along with the Franklin community.”
