24 Aug Indiana On Tap Announces Release of Highly Anticipated Mobile App

Indianapolis, IN – Indiana On Tap, LLC, a statewide craft beer media & marketing company, has announced the release of their highly anticipated app for their Tasting Society Marketplace—the state’s premier craft beer membership and rewards program.
Now in its fourteenth month, members of the popular Tasting Society Marketplace currently receive over 125 exclusive offers from over 75 participating breweries and partners all over the state. These offers are good towards over $750 (annually) in craft beer, merchandise, food, services and events. Members also receive a regular, exclusive e-newsletter with member-only offers for free and discounted tickets to craft beer festivals all over the state, member-exclusive events, and much more.
Developed by MidWest Coast Media of South Bend, this new, first-of-its kind app was designed to create an easier, improved experience for all new and renewed members. Effective immediately, all customized, physical Marketplace gift certificates for new and renewed members will be replaced by customized e-gift certificates via the app.
The app includes other value-added features for both member and non-member Indiana craft beer fans alike–including a home page that links to the IndianaOnTap.com home page with current Indiana craft beer news, editorials and features. The ‘Events’ section of the app links to the state’s largest and most thorough calendar for Indiana craft beer events found anywhere online to make it easier for users to better plan their event schedules.
Two additional sections of the app have been designed to feature either Tasting Society Marketplace partners only, or all known Indiana breweries plus Marketplace partners, in order to create value for any non-member wishing to use the app as well. These sections allow users to quickly locate all marketplace partners and/or breweries on a map, find out which locations are closest to them, connect with each location, get driving directions, and more.
For all Marketplace partners, their exclusive offers are clearly listed and available on the app for members to quickly and easily redeem at each participating location. Offers are redeemed by brewery or partner staff by typing in their unique authorization code to redeem each e-gift certificate offer. It also includes integrated social media for members to easily share their redeemed offers and experiences across multiple social media platforms, and a ‘notes’ section where users can keep notes and share feedback with those partners and breweries.
“This app was a substantial monetary and time investment for us,” noted Steve Williams, Director of the Indiana On Tap Tasting Society. “However, it was a no-brainer. Not only is it creating an improved and easier member experience, it’s also collecting data that we can share with our Marketplace partners that’s valuable for them, and we haven’t even scratched the surface with how we plan to grow it.”
Version 1.0 of the app is now available in the iTunes and Google Play stores and is free to download for both members and non-members. Development on version 1.1 and 1.2 is already underway with the focus to add even more features designed to create value for the breweries and marketplace partners.
