Press Release

CARMEL, IN – Danny Boy Beer Works, a fast-growing Indiana craft brewery, will begin canning its popular line of craft beers next week from its brewery and tap room located in Carmel. A handful of Danny Boy’s select craft beers will be the first to be canned and distributed, followed by rest of the lineup at subsequent cannings.

The initial canning will include 16-ounce cans that will be made available to retail outlets across the state, along with a special 32-ounce can that will be available at Danny Boy Beer Works and the Brockway Pub in Carmel.

It is anticipated the cans will be available by May 26.

Retailers can order the cans through Danny Boy distributors Monarch Beverage of Indianapolis, Indiana Beverage of Valparaiso and Five Star Distributing of Columbia City. The move comes as Danny Boy continues to expand its reach from central Indiana to cities across the state and into Michigan. The cans will be available first in Indiana and then in Michigan by June.

“This is a big step for a small craft brewer that began as a dream, playing around with recipes, before building our brewery in the Village of West Clay,” said Danny Boy Beer Works owner Kevin Paul. “Quite frankly, we had to start canning because of the demand we have been getting from our customers.”

The first beers to be canned include:

  • Training Day American Pale Ale
  • Miss Ginger Witte Urban Wheat
  • Danny Boy Black Black IPA
  • Mac Daddy Strong Scottish Ale
  • Rock N Rolla Imperial IPA
