City of Lebanon Announces ‘Savor Lebanon’ – Inaugural Craft Beer, Wine & Food Festival

For Immediate Release:

Lebanon, IN – The city of Lebanon, in partnership with Indiana On Tap, is excited to announce the inaugural ‘Savor Lebanon’ Craft Beer, Wine and Food Festival to be held on Saturday, February 25th, 2017 indoors at the Witham Pavilion and Centennial Hall buildings at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, IN.

This first-year event will feature craft beer, cider and wine from approximately 15+ premier Indiana craft breweries and wineries and 10 Lebanon and Indianapolis-area restaurants and eateries. Gates will open for entry at 1:00pm, with the event concluding at 5pm.

“Our city wanted to capitalize on the momentum that has been generated from a tremendously successful year,” noted Lebanon Mayor Matthew Gentry. “We believe that a new event that celebrates local craft beer, wine, and delicious food will continue that momentum into 2017.”

Every ticket will include entry into both buildings of the event with UNLIMITED beer and wine samples (with a complimentary and commemorative tasting glass that all attendees can keep), and free access to live music, entertainment and more. Designated Driver tickets will not receive a tasting glass or be allowed to sample any of the alcohol, but soft drinks and water will be available for purchase.

Food will be available for purchase from multiple Lebanon and Indianapolis-area restaurants and eateries in a true “festival-style format.” In addition to having the option to purchase a full-size entrée or food item, each food vendor will also be offering sample sizes of select menu items in the range of $1 – $3 to encourage attendees to sample multiple items from multiple vendors.

“We were thrilled when the city of Lebanon approached us about this event,” added Indiana On Tap Creative Director Barton Lewis. “We specialize in creating exceptional events like this and we expect Savor Lebanon to be a huge hit for not just the citizens of Lebanon, but for everyone in and around Boone County as well.”

This is a 21+ event. Tickets for the event are all General Admission and the cost per ticket is as follows:

Early Bird Purchase – $35 if purchased online between December 26th – January 15th, 2017.
